Testimonials:-

I have been unfortunate to have suffered 2 shoulder injuries within the last 3 years. My first injury (January 2005) involved a operation. Following surgery my Orthopedic Surgeon suggested I contact Sandie for Pilates re-habilitation exercises...I attended her classes at the local health club and made a great recovery...I returned to my job as a skiing instructor in canada the following season (2005)but was back in the UK within 4 weeks with another injury....Sandie insisted I saw her on a one2one this time and I have to say the difference of having a one2one session and being part of a group session was profound. My recovery was excelerated 10 fold because of the 100% attention recieved. Sandie also did some treatment on my shoulder and this along with the exercises I beleive was the reason I was able to return to finish the season off. Something I did not think I was going to be able to do. Fingers crossed, I have been back now 2 more times and looking forward to the 2008/9 season again. I go and see Sandie now when I'm back for what she calls a M.O.T. to keep me in check.   Jason D.

I have been attending Sandie's Pilates classes since she started in 1998. I went to her after I had been diagnsoed with Osteoporsis in my spine at the age of 35. I was told because of the severity I was looking at a hip replacement by the age of 40. This horrified me and I went along to see Sandie who was very helpful, approachable and positive about the condition....I am still baffling my doctor as i am now 45 and my bone density levels have remained the same for the past 10 years and I have now been told that a hip replacement is not necessary in the very near future. I can't thank Sandie and Pilates enough as it has not only postoned this operation but my posture has improved, my strength and energy levels are better and i've gone down a dress size...What else could I ask for.   Marie.

I went to see Sandie on a one to one as i was unable to attend her group sessions for a while due to work. I am so glad that I did this and wish I'd done it sooner as the instruction on this level far exceeds what you learn when amongst others. You're able to switch off and cheat a little when in a class and although Sandie is very vigilant, she cant watch everyone at once. I made discoveries about myself that I had never noticed before and now when i attend the classes I feel I am able to perform and achieve much more. I would strongly recommend a few  one to one sessions to everyone before they go to a group session.    Fiona F.
